What's an idler program?

When your playing TF2 you get items randomly as long as your playing and connected to a server. An Idler connects to a fake server and imitates being connected to a real server while your not really playing. You get items while your not playing.

Then no, I play an hour TF2 every few weeks just to test out my skills. I don't need fancy new items to pwn

Also is it still possible to get weps from unlocking achievments?

They recently deleted all idler items and have forbid the usage of it. : (
