Why does Thunder wear a helmet when you graduate sometimes and not other times?

I've never personally seen him wear his helmet, but I'm not quite sure it has to do with anything,.

I think thunder wore his helmet in the graduation ceremony to not disrespect the graduates with out a full attire, and he doesn't wear it in public becuase, it is uncomfortable and sweaty.

its just chance somtimes he will have it on and other times he wont least thats how it works on my game

Maybe because:
1. Its heavy/uncomfortable to wear outside battle
2. Its hot and sweaty
3. Because the situation does not call for a helmet.

OT: Not to sound disrespectful, but honestly how would any of us know?

Im not saying why he doesn't have it on in the entire game, I'm saying that in the FILM CLIP after you defeat maze at the very start of the game he is sometimes wearing his helmet and other times he is not. I just wanted to know why?

Aren't there two thunders in the creature list? One has TLC next to it. Maybe that has something to do with it. *shrug*
