I would like to have these feature's back on the forums. They made navigation a hell of a lot more convenient, plus they gave the top poster's a little ego boost.

Resources permitting, of course. The only reason I bring this up again is because of Steve's recent aqusition of fabler.net, and I'm thinking maybe you could share the resources around to free up more here or something. I really don't know how this whole thing works.

I liked it when I joined. It gave me something to look forward to. That was back when (I think) Dark Drakan was Top Poster.

maybe change XBOX Live Leaderboards to "Leaderboards"
where you could compare members by post count, xbox live score, join date, profile views, etc....
just roll them all into 1

But then again, some newbies would spam just to move up in the ranks.

^ i mean, if they can just join and spam 2000+ posts...you'd think they'd get banned before they could pull that off :/

I really liked the thing, too. Usually logged on and hit all the most recent topics. But I prefer to have a site that works well to one with all the bells and whistles, so [shrugs]. If it works, I'd like to see it back.

Also, what? When did Steve get a new Fable site? And why?

People do that anyway. It's no more irritating with the recent posts thing than without it.

I'm pretty confident that Drakan is still the post count overlord of human kind.

And yeah, I'm pretty sure that Drakan is the highest poster on this site, every other site Steve and them own, and just for good measure-- 30% of all the other sites on the planet, including those that don't actually have anything you can post in.

No idea how I missed the thread about the new domain name. No idea what we could do with it, either.

I miss it too.

I'll think about re-adding it but if we can do without it then it would definitely be better all round. And, sadly, my purchasing of Fabler.net doesn't mean we get to spread the resources around anymore so than we do now. Fabler.net is just a domain name and not an actual physical server (although it would be very cool if it was!).

If I decide to do anything with Fabler.net then it'll just be used a website which will reside on the dedicated server I have now.

I will think about it though!

Aahhhh, ok. No problem. It's easy enough to navigate without it (I think we've gotten pretty used to it by now). I just remembered really liking the feature. Plus it would have a bit of nostalgia about it

After thinking about it, another thing you could do would be to post the top posters on a separate page similar to the "View Forum Leaders" link.

You could then update this page manually every fortnight or so.
