Transfering saved data

Ok i have a problem. Since my friends 360 broke he let me borrow his harddrive for the arcade games. So i have been playing all my new games on his harddrive and for christmas he says he is gonna get a 360 and he wants his harddrive back. So is there any way for me to transfer my saved data and move it back into my old hardrive

cant you use like a flash drive and then move the data onto that and then move it back into my old drive?

I was able to move save data from one wii to the other via this little card/camera/memory/disc/thing. Not sure if it works the same with the 360. But there might be a possible way.

Isn't there a hard drive transfer kit or something...I'm sure I saw something like that on the net a while ago...

well there is the 64 mb memory unit but i dont know if it will transfer and it cost 40 bucks

Maybe load the game up, take the memory out and put yours in then save? will that work?

You can put saves onto it and transfer it no problem only problem is anything of any size like downloaded maps and such you cant as the card isnt big enough. However as you only mentioned saves it would be fine to do that, can get a crossover cable to transer from hard drive to hard drive like Sharon said but unsure how much they cost etc.

thanks for the help guys but i decided to just start over to much trouble. Now i got to go recreate my character on mass effect
