Travels of a Hero

This is an interesting Pub Game let's just say... This is paying homage to Fablefreak's Hero's Journey thread and the never ending story thread. In this, each person will make up a sentence (or part of one) pertaining to a hero's travel accross Albion (make up places if you have to)- make it humorous but clean and keep it on topic at least a bit. I thought this might be a fun idea, as long as people can contribute. I'll start if everyone else will continue. By the way- Fablefreak, if you're reading this, I'm not copying you and I hope you might contribute as well.

It was the first day of a new year in Albion, and celebration and good fellowship could be found in every tavern, as a new day began...

As I went to the celebration room (the tavern) I gave my fellow apprentices a drink and said "To Another New Year!"

My dad hasn't been home for about a week now... He always says stuff like "I cannot tell you where im going son"... He gets so annoying sometimes...

As Trima a local villager walks up to me she nudges me to stop daydreaming. she asks "What are you thinking of?" and I say "Oh Nothing.."

We talk a little more then

to hit and kick the bullies with all my might... After a while i see that i did little damage to the main bully but the other one had bruises and scratches. The main bully said "HA! you call that fighting?" oh well you beat my OLD friend so I guess your kinda good.

"May as well." I thought for a moment about it, before taking the upper hand as I always had, while he considered the offer. I performed a swift uppercut and heard with a smile the snapping of his neck. Why was it that I was this way? I was born as thus, evil and full of a curious longing to... well hurt people. I suppose I get it from my father, the infamous murderer of half of the town with his woodsman's axe before he drowned himself in the nearby river. Let's just say I'm not that proud of my heritage.

As I looked down at the bully I saw that he was either Knocked oout or dead then I say "Wow I think I broke his neck!" The bartender kicked me out and went to get paramedics. I went and hid before the guards found out. All though i am tough I dont think I can take on guards with my fists.... Yet.

So I went looking for a sharp object... as i walked up the hill to the bridge I found a Stick thats top was really sharp. I picked it up. When i looked up there was a guard (He hasn't found out yet) I said "Hello sir" Hiding the stick behind my back. He said "Staying out of trouble?" then I got this evil idea and...

thrust it forward, a maniacal, half-crazy look crossing my face before I realized I was laying on my back, looking up into the bright azure sky of Oakvale. The guard stepped over me, breaking the stick in his fist as he said, "Son, what's wrong with you? If ya promise that ye' won't go breakin' any laws, then I'll let ya off with a warning and I won't mention this to anybody." I thought about it for a moment. Sometimes it is better to accept defeat. The guard stretched his gloved hand forth and I grasped it, hopping to my feet. Something had to change here. The darkness inside me was doing something to me. Every day something like this happened. It was time for something new.
