[OldBoy]

This mod let's you summon the Earth Troll, the Rock Troll and the Ice Troll.



Download here or here.

How to apply:

1. Backup your game.bin (\Fable\data\CompiledDefs \...)

2. Start Fable Explorer (found here).

3. Click 'File' and 'Load Fable Mod Package'

4. Select the Troll_Summon.fmp

5. Click 'Actions' and 'Save Mods and Run Fable'.

6. Don't start a game or load a save, but exit Fable again!

7. Start Fable again.

8. Let you current summon kill a Troll (I'd suggest an Earth Troll to start with, since this is the easiest to kill).

9. Now you can summon your Troll.


IMPORTANT:

Note 1:
The summonned creatures are ranked to determine when to replace a summonned creature with a new one, according to rank.
Normally the wasp is the lowest ranked (#1) and the minion dreadwings the highest ranked (#29).
Now the Earth Troll is #30, the Rock Troll #31, the Ice Troll #32.

Note 2:
The Earth Troll and the Ice Troll don't walk, so if you have summonned one of them, they will stay in that place until you summon them again.
The Rock Troll on the other hand actually follows you after he stands up. This makes him my favourite...

Note 3:
It's best to summon the Trolls between enemy's, because they won't stand up if there are no enemy's nearby.
Sometimes even then they won't stand up, just repeat the spell until the Troll does.

Note 4:
When you havn't learned the spell yet, the Earth Troll will be now the first creature you summon, instead of the wasp.

Note 5
The Trolls don't see you as an enemy, and therefore won't target you, but:
They also do damage to you! Everything a Troll throws at an enemy hurts you to if you're to close.
So be carefull and watch your troll.
The physical shield spell can counter this effect very good.

Note 6
Duration time for a summonned creature is set to 99 seconds in this mod (every level the same, so no need to upgrade your spell after level 1).

LIES! I loaded up your FMP. And tried that one alone, I got my Minion Dreadwings to kill the earthtroll at Greatwood. As soon as the troll died, and my summon went to change my game crashed.
Then I tried loading the other two FMP's like you said and that didn't make a difference.

Let me rephrase: Thanks ladies and gentlemen!

Btw: I could expand on this mod with more creatures/npc's.
For instance: the summonner, twinblade, nostro, wasp queen, thunder, maze, briar rose and whisper.

Whisper and briar rose are not that interesting I believe, they don't fight that good.
And the thing is, we'd have to figure out what way I should rank them.

So if anyone has a suggestion on the ranking, or creatures that would be nice to add, don't hold back.

odd! IT seems to work now. The new one you uploaded anyway So sorry.

I used the Download at Fable: The Lost Chapters Mod Scene: Mods => Troll Summon So maybe that was it. The zip you have now is fine

PROBLEM FIXED

It's a problem with Fable Explorer not linking up correct.
It wasn't my mod that caused the crash.

Look at first post for new 'how to', that fixes the problem.

Regardless of it being your mod or not, you're still helping me.

Would it be possible to give the other trolls walking animation? Like steal the Rock trolls walking animation and give it to the other two? and I noticed Thunder already has a summon brain, he's just impossible to attack with a summon

You misunderstood (or I wrote it down wrong), it is my mod, but it wasn't my mod that caused the crash.

As for the animations (I thought about it too), probably is possible, but might cause deformation of the models when they walk. I havn't looked into it yet.

As for Thunder, it's easy to create a summon for him, and a troll (any one of them) should be able to defeat him.
Btw, Maze is more fun then Thunder, but less strong, since Thunders sword does 400 damage.

So I could make it so that in the ranking you'd get: #30 Earth Troll, #31 Thunder, #32 Rock Troll, #33 Ice Troll

Sorry for misunderstanding. I do that a lot.

Heehe Deformed Trolls. I like the rock one too. He's my favorite.

I didn't have a troll when I tried to attain him as a summon, this was about 5 days ago when I attempted this. He blocks every attack my summon tries to make.
