Good to see the 360 selling well, it deserves it with the quality titles that it has had as of late and also that are on the way.

Perhaps this will serve as a wake-up call for Sony that they can't keep on releasing the darn PSP over and over again with some modifications. Honestly, how many 'version' of the PSP is there?

Improved the PS3 or make something new... or something.

Nintendo did the same thing with the Gameboy Advance and SP though, however they sold like hotcakes at the time

the 360 and PSP are two very differen't types of game consoles. To compare their Sales is a little Strange to me. 360 VS PS3 makes more sense

I still want a PSP.

Its because Sony are releasing a new PSP to generate sales (same as a new PS2) and as PS3 sales in UK arent really increasing they choose that. Just to stop the monotony of the 360 and PS3 sales talks i guess as they have been spoken about to death.

I mean, if this keeps up they will have to keep inventing and releasing new version of the PSP for all eternity. As you can see, with the release of these new versions comming, as stated by the article, sales of the old ones drop.

So when the sales of these new ones are deemed 'unworthy', will they create new versions of the PSP, to continue this spiral of doom?

I'll do a search for it. I think I knew about it but I'm talking about the entire team . One person doesn't make all the decision. nor design the marketing plan.

Well he gave them his best wishes anyway, and said himself he did. I dont doubt it had something to do with lots of bad publicity on the marketing strategies of the PS3 so probably jumped before he was pushed.
