Jack Thompson was visited by a pair of US Marshals after he wrote a letter to the Floridian bar member Judge Moreno claiming he had fewer rights than a prisoner at Guantanamo bay.

According to Games Politics, Thompson wrote the letter on Friday expressing his frustrations that he can not obtain judicial relief in his battle against the Florida Bar.

"We find yesterday that enemy combatants at Guantanamo are to get more due process from federal judges than what I am to have," he wrote.

"I guess my 'mistake' was not killing 3000 people to make my point."

Judge Moreno apparently took offence to this and sent two Marshals to have a chat with the attorney. I suppose telling a judge you made a mistake in not killing 3000 people is like joking that you're carrying a bomb through airport security.

In response to the visit, Thompson claimed the Justice Department are harassing him. He has written to the council for the House Judiciary Committee requesting a meeting in Washington to air his complaint.

Hm, Jack T. doesn't seem very smart. In todays world, that would be considered, a terreristic threat. Maybe he got his degree, out of a cracker jack, box. He needs to grow up, and concentrate on important things. I really don't feel one bit sorry for him. It's almost as if he's merely. looking for attention.
+rep4U He is an embarrassment , and not worthy of being a lawyer. My son is in law school, and is fighting what's going on, at G. Bay. Jack is merely showing his ignorance. Maybe, he should take up gaming. Help get rid of his boredom.

Yeah, instead of saying off the wall things, like killing 3,000, people, over what?Playing games. He really must be unstable. At this point, I really wouldn't put anything, past that creep. It really would serve him right to be forced, to play a game or 3.
