Ok, so it's my first Valentine's day with Steve (and the first one I've ever had cause to celebrate with anyone) and just wondered what other people got, what they gave and to whom.
Plus, what's been your best V-day in the past? Or best ever gift/card/surprise? Last year, my best mate was really down because she's never had a bloke and so I cooked her a three course meal, gave her balloons, chocolates, teddy bear, 12 roses and jewellery and then took her out for a film and unromantic stroll by the river (well, more of a quick run really as it isn't safe to travel around my hometown at night so we legged it and got a taxi home). I feel sorry for any future boyfriend she has coz somehow I don't think they'll be able to beat my efforts...*smug*
No one's ever given me a gosh darned thing, so I can't say the best gift I ever got.
