Re: Video game cam

Best way is by linking Xbox 360 to PC with Windows Media Centre you can do this directly or can use some splitter connecters so you can play it on your tv and record through your pc at the same time so you dont have to play the game through the capture software, you will need the right card in PC to do this however.

Cheapest way is using your camera yeah but make sure there is no glare on TV and you have a decent size set.

Media Centre is the pro way of doing it but costs money:

Xbox.com | Xbox 360 Media Download Center

I meant when you are recording it, like the light in the room reflecting on the set etc, also depends how you plan on setting camera up and what lighting is like as it all effects quality.

I think thats for viewing media content stored on your PC trough your Xbox.
How does that allow you to record games on the Xbox I have a TV tuner and Media Center and I'm able to record TV and watch it through the Xbox but I don't know how to record to my computer this way. That would be cool.

Usually by using a USB Video Recording device, then because your 360 is linked up to PC you can send it to that.

Ah I was thinking somehow you could get it to record inline. Perhaps that is possible if you try to play xbox on your computer. I have my xbox downstairs and the computer upstairs
