Well the title says it all.. What is your view point on Rascism? Are you Racist? Why? What Race. (If you believe people are different races..

)

I know this may start alot of Arguements.. If it does you can simply Close it.. I was just wodnering what it is like around the otherside of the World.

to hate someone without ever having met them
for no "real" reason either
especially since everyone is pretty much the same... no real difference

im color blind, we are all humans and we are all equal. rascism is wrong, plain and simple. i make my judgments on a person as an inividual, not a group.

Yeah i see both sides of why people do and dont..

Sadly (dont ahte me) Im a Bit racist, I was broguht up with it.. My dad is.. My family is really (mainly Males) .. Its just the fact that ALL maoris ive met or whatever they are all Gangster, Dumbasse's who try to act like real gangster black people.. it gets really annoying.. I think the KKK was too far.. im not that bad.. I wouldnt kill a black man just because i dont like black people in general..

Aren't opinions so Messed up? Haha

I HATE politcal correctness just as much as I hate people who are ignorant. I think racist jokes can be funny, as long as they aren't just slurs. But we have to find some point where a line is drawn between funny and stupid. Also people need to realize that slurs are just words, and yes words can hurt, but they are just words.

i'm not racist but i do hate people who call you racist for mentioning their background. One time i said "These asian kids stole a car down the road yesterday" and i was called racist (BTW i actually saw them, i wasn't assuming them to be Asian)

Trust me my background (Ireland) is alot worst in Melbourne.. The Mauri thing is similar to the Aboriginies in Australia.. What i do is just not think about it, and get too hooked up about it

Yeah i guess theres no point in being racist and hating others for nothing.. But i was brought up like that so its not really my fault.. its jsut the way the world is.. right?

Well i like to think that i'm not racist allthough every now and then i will just spurt something out without actually thinking about the consequences. I will say now though that i have never actually been racist to someone's face, i'm more of a "make jokes about them in general" kinda person

I know what you mean my grandma (before she died

) spited on anyone that is from North part of Ireland or was Catholic. And melborne has more north island kids. An as a kid i was scared to go into some suberbs, coz it had alot of Irish from the North part (but the thing is nowerdays it doesn't matter what part you are from, it was just my grandma forcing this message into my brain.)

One time i had a friend over who is Afrikan he thought i said nigga, and i remember apologizing to his parents, but i didn't day it

But that was along time ago, and i think he moved to the UK

I'm not Racist, and I disagree with the extremes of racism.
I will only use stereotyping in preparing me for an opinion to make, not to make an opinion.

ie. I know a handful of heavily "gangsta" chavs, some black, some white. Some are complete idiots and others are incredibly close friends (mix of both black and white).

I judge the person by the person, if someone gives me a reason to hate them I will, but I won't pre-hate just because there are lots of other people out there who are willing to do so.

Tis' a complicated World and I think it would be better off if everyone judged people by the people, not the colour of your skin, hair, gender, sexual prefrence, or wether you have an Xbox or PS3 lol

(EDIT| If you have seen AvenueQ and heard the "We're all a little bit Racist" song, I think its a pretty well sung explination

^^In a way your right, everyone has some kind of thought in their head when they approach someone of any race, be it caution or comfort. BUT imo taking it to an extreme and being out to sabotage or bully people because of their race is just wrong.

But you're right, Opinions are fun and they do make everyone unique!

Haha and it makes great arguements.. I love argueing aswell.. I quite good at it sometimes.. depending on what subjects.

But thats why iI love the mystery of not knowing whats out there or if gods real or not or the fact what happens when we die. I LOVE NOT KNOWING!!!

Racism is in our blood. If it wasn't, ideologies such as the one in WW II Germany would never have taken root. As the song says, we're all a bit racist. That's because we have the biological urge to take care of those who are like us. Our "tribe", if you will, and the distrust of other "tribes" than our own.

Personally I don't care about the colour of one's skin. There are tons of chavs and other scum from "fine white families" who couldn't even hold a candle to the amazing achievements of a poor farmer in Africa who has fought all his life for what he has got, and that man has all my respect for that.
