Warrior? Mage? Lvling up?

Hello I've been playing fable the lost chapters for a while now. But I just picked it up again a couple days ago. I have just succeded in giving the mayor of bowerstone her necklace back. Now I see all these things online about mages and warriors? I assume that is based on how you play the game. Well I decided that a mage would be fun to play. Now how to I get a robe to look like one? What kind of things should I do to become one? And what is this thing about lvling up? does it just mean buying abilitys? Thanks for the help

pretty much a mage is just a person who focuses on the Will abilities, so you'd level up those...
for a robe that looks like a mage, I guess that would just be like a Will Users Robe... the dark one is cooler looking
and yeah, leveling up is just gaining experience, there are no real 'levels' per say...

ya...leveling on Fable isnt ur old...."Haha noobs beware im lvl 14!!!! w00t1111!!!!!111!" sorta lvling......

and u can buy will users robes at shops.....

Dark Will robes r in Knothole Glade

Bright will Robes are in Bowerstone North. Or behind the demon door at Rose Cottage

and neutral will robes are...in Oakvale i think

You can get the dark wizard robes if you pass the test the Demon Door somewhere in darkwood gives you. You will have to fight serveral waves of Hobs, not really hard actually.

You can get the bright/dark wizard hat from the Book Collection quest in bowerstone south (that is if you have TLC). There is a thread about that here:

Have fun, and remember- Fire magics are the best!

There is none "levels" in Fable, instead your character spends experience on different abilities to gain new skills or improve already learned ones.
But you could call that levelling, i suppose.

well you get Bright Willrobe in Rose Cottage give the Demon Door a present and Dark on somewhere in Greatwood the door has you kill Hobbes and if you use a bunch of spell your title will be "Renown Level Spellwarrior Named Your Title" like mine is "Very Famous Spellwarrior Named Paladin"

my clothing is obviously dark will users hat assassin gloves and shirt with either dark plate leggings and boots or get a mod making plate legs and boots black
