i should do im a gamekeeper i own several rifles and am a extremely good shot
dont mean to spam here but it must be said
like i said range has nothing to do with sniping, its all about accuracy, compensating for wind, muzzle trajectory, range, objects that might block the shot for example a blade of grass will deflect a 22. rimfire round, shot placement why go for a head shot when the chest leaves more room for error. all of that still applies at 100 yards so if you cant do that at 100 yards you certainly cant do it at 500-700

Hey the ball and chain idea reminds me of a fan fic villian of mine that swings a huge wrecking ball around!
how about the ability to fight with two swords (like Twinblade)
also some sort of magic staff for wizards that enhanses spell abillites and effects alignment
um mabye like a hidden secret minigun (kinda like the secret frying pan from the first game)
CLAWS! metal claws to wear on ur hands for fist fighters!
Definitly a sheild! A Knight is not complete with out sword AND shield (there can even be like a good/bad shield that goes along with a set of armour
some kinda bomb (like the ones Whisper had at the Arena) to lob at enemies would be cool

Spot on. And as I said, you can place a hugely powerful scope on one of the old guns we'll see in Fable II and you still couldn't snipe with it because those guns could never ever be accurate enough.

if i was going to use any gun in fable it would be a blunderbuss (provided they have them) firing buckshot all the way lol, but like i said earlier does no one else think it would be cool to pwn your enemies (by enemies i mean villagers) with cookware that can be massively powerful with enough augmentations

I hate all these ideas for ridiculously huge blades. If you've ever actually held a real metal sword, you'd see that would take a giant of a man to wield something as "small" as Avo's tear as proficiently as you do in the game.

Seriously, im surprised people still say stuff like this when it comes to video games. Yes, in reality we cannot weild ubber giant swords, use magic, carry hundreds of pounds of equipment, go into someones house and steal treasure, and we cannot take a bullet from a gun. But if you made games to be realistic, they would suck, simple. Its called suspension of disbelief. . . i think. I dont want to play a realistic game, since Im a magic type of guy.
Anyway, how about shields as weapons. Smack people with them and what not. Ones with spikes would be fun.

Yes it is a fantasy game. So why not have the character carry a 500 ft long sword?

Actually. Assassin's Creed is MEANT to be realistic and it looks like it FAR from sucks.

To tell the truth, Ive only read a couple articles and seen a few screen shots, so I dont know that much about it, other then if you get stabbed with a sword you die. But I havent looked far enough into it to judge it myself, but I'll take your word for it.
Let me rephrase my statement, when a game is taking place where reality is not the focus but you give it realistic game play, it would suck(especially with RPGs). Like Final Fantasy, obviously a fantasy world, but if you got killed every time someone blasted you with a gun or a fire ball it'd get old fast.

But whats the threshold? In Oblivion my character can carry about 20 swords. . . to me thats rediculous but the game is still very cool. In F.E.A.R I can take entire clips from a machine gun, slow down time and kill enimies in massive waves. . . I think its cool buts its far from reality. I agree we shouldnt have tiny little guys weilding blades twice their body lengths like a paper weight, to me thats silly, but if your a hulking man beast, why not have a massive blade, six or eight feet long even would be fine by me: Not realistic, but not ridiculous.

The fact that you have an infinite backpack and lots of endurance is for gameplay purposes. Having a large sword has nothing to do with gameplay. Having a large sword has everything to do with the art direction of the game. There are plenty of huge weapons already in the game anyways. I have no idea why you would want something BIGGER than the oversized weapons we already have (Avo's Tear is pretty much bigger than a person). The only reason I can think of would be that you want to make Fable more like Final Fantasy.

... I just want swords the size from fable. The Sword of Aons was darn near the length of JoB. Also I like the size of the solus blade. I was also mistaken in which sword you were talkin about, I keep getting the sword in the stone mixed up with Avos tear so my argument point was comming from there. . . sorry  I get confused alot.
Edit: Havent plat TLC for some time, so I was even more confused when ya said the sword was too long, thinkin it was that punny one I was thinking of- I couldnt see what you meant cause I forgot. But Still For ubber giant characters, I can see ubber giant weapons. I am a fan of proportions.

Why not a quest to get a legendary weapon, a pirate captain's lost blade that is a cutlass with a pistol built into the hilt. You could come up with some interesting ways to fight with that one (i.e. sidestepping as the enemy lunges at you, nailing them with a few bullets and moving in for the kill with the actual blade). Just another idea.

i think it would be awsome to have two swords that you could design at a blacksmith to your personal desire.
or a sword like the diblaharo or something from the game Ninja-Gaiden, curved like fire giant blade that was bronze and had a huge ruby set in the hilt, hard to describe but totally wicked.
