Re: weight
Time, as long as you do not eat more, your weight will slowly go down. Weight has no affect on the hero though. In fact eating certain foods gives you Strength, Skill, and Will experience Points.

Re: weight
Fish gives you will, Carrot - Skill, Red Meat - Strength.
As far as I know apples, apple pie and blueberry pie don't give you anything but health.
Also Tofu gives you 5 good alignment and Crunchy Chicks 5 evil alignment.
Golden Carrot turns night into day and Moonfish does the opposite.

You are mistaken. The Golden Carrot will turn night into day when you use/eat it.

Keep in mind that the experience giving food work with your combo multiplier, so it is always best to get a big one, then spam away with the food hotkeyed.

Re: weight
Running, helps it come off faster, I find. If you run through Darkwood, a few times, battling, it'll come off faster. Also, if you're married, your wife will comment on the weight loss, as it comes off. "Ah, you've lost weight".
Carrots, add on weight. The door that wants you fat, eat 41 carrots, and you'll get skill and fat, at the same time. If you're already fat no problem. I stay thin, and that's how many I have to eat to get in that door.

I always did wonder how fat I needed to be to get through that door.

Yeah, That door drove me nuts, until, by trial and error, I finally counted it right.

I open that door during the Escort Traders through Darkwood quest. I leave the traders in Dkwd Camp, go to Anc. Cullis Gate, kill everything there, go into Dkwd Wier and hurry to the troll and kill it, then eat meat and carrots until I get to obese while my Combat Multiplier is high, then go to Barrow Fields and open the door. That way I get the most benefit from having to get to obese.
When I go back through and get the traders; the bandits, hobbes, and troll do not respawn, so I can run back through with the traders and not let the infected one have time to turn into a balverine, sometimes he thanks the hero at the end for getting him there in time.

That is really awesome. I didn't know you could leave the traders, at Darkwood Camp'. So they just stay there, and you can run back and forth, gaining extra experience? That's amazing. I'd never think of that.

You can't gain extra experience, because the bad guys don't respawn after they are killed during the quest. You can leave them in Dkwd Entrance if you want, go through the whole section, kill everything, then come back for them.
I made a teleporter to take me to the Bordello, if I go there after I get the quest card, but before I meet the traders, I can kill everything in Dkwd, then go meet the traders, do the starting cut-scene, click to begin the quest, then just run them through to Barrow Fields without any bad guys bothering them.
If I go to Dkwd before I get the quest card, there are Hobbes and balverines there that do respawn when I leave the region and come back.

Ah, I think I got it. So nobody, respawns after you kill them. And then go get them, and the rest is just stress free, and you can walk without fighting the rest of the way. I always kept them with me.
