Weird thing happened at bandit camp

Ok so im going to bandit camp to slaughter some bandits for xp. Its nighttime and i see this guy thats probaly drunk and spinning around, and drops his crossbow. So now im wondering if you can get other bandits to drop there weapons...Is it possible?

I left out a part about the bandits dropping there weapons...if its possible...can you pick them up? i picked up the crossbow but what about the other weapons that they *might* drop?

I don't know - there has been one occasion where I have picked up a weapon but it never happened again, so I figured it was a glitch of some sorts...

I've never had them just drop it randomly while they were drunk... but if you go to the bandit camp they put their weapons down while they sleep and you can pick them up then...
there's supposed to be a Bandit Scimitar you can get that way... but I never have to my knowledge...

Perhaps I'm just crazy (kind of a no-brainer, eh?), but isn't there also a chicken on a stick item you can pick up from them? I know for a fact that they have the items, at times eating them around the campfire, but can you obtain those as well?

I got the scimitar. It only dose 20 dog damn damage. Ive never seen the crossbow.

I was told by someone that there is loads of things drop there :
scimmy
crosssbow
those are the only ones that i'm for certain that drop not sure bout the "chicken on a stick"

They cannot drop the Chicken on a stick. It is not a weapon, just like a prop.

They drop the weapons by a glitch caused when you steal their beds or something.
