the advantages/disadvantages of having a younger character?

none. all you get is a younger character, there are no benifits, although it will make it look more realistic, since you wont be older than your mom

I think having an older hero is cool but as already stated: there aren't any additional advantages or disadvantages. Still, I like giving my older heroes a nice 'Merlin' type beard and 'stash and making 'em look that little but more magical. But that's just me.

being older also means diff. npc statements eg if ur wife catches u flirting she says something about u being a randy old man
