what is the best weapon in Fable II

Wat is the best weapon in Fable II? me and my friends have been debating this and cant come up with a answer

if ur just saying stat wise and not speed wise i would say ranged wise would be Enforcer, Rammer, melle wise would be Diachi, master hammer, Chopper

Depends on what you choose/think
Melee Weapons:
1) Supposedly the dachi is the best but that does not mean it is. its just a katana with 3 augments. i could make a weapon thats better for example. i bought a master hammer (the hammer does 101/107 damage by itself) with 2 augment slots, i put a luck charm which makes it much stronger and the goul augment which drain apponets enegry and gives it to me it is way stronger the the datchi also i tested this out, i did one hit with each, the hammer killed the gaurd in 2 hits while the datchi killed him in 3 so ya but that is one reason

Range Weapons:
1) The red dragon is probably one of the best guns in the game, it can shoot 6 bullets really fast and reloads in 0.75 secs it does 47 damage per bullet with all damage put together it makes (282 Damage) , but then again i put the same augments (lucky charm & devestation) on the master turret pistol which does 67 damage per bullet but its reload time is 1 sec per bullet all together it does (402 damage).
2) It depends on what you like to, i perfer this over my red dragon it might take longer to load, but the enemy will never touch me because there heads will be shot off.
3) it says the perferator is better then the red dragon but i don't know, i never use it so meh.

All together, weapons are weapons but if you put certain things on them they become better and stronger.

The Daichi is indeed, the best weapon if it comes to melee - not counting the exclusive Wreckager.
As for the ranged bit, I don't really mind what gun/bow I choose, but I guess the Rammer should do the job. The Red Dragon ain't bad either.

The Perforator in all honesty is terrible. When in a situation that requires a lot of ammunition, it delivers for the first 6 shots, and then acts like a crossbow thereafter, unless you wait to reload all 6 before firing again. The Red Dragon is excellent for destroying small armies without being touched, however The Rammer's Ghoul augment makes it the best ranged weapon by far. No matter the situation, you will almost always have full health by the end of the fight. Melee wise, the Daichi is the best. It deals a tremendous amount of damage for being a Katana, and it is extremely fast. However, I cannot compare it to the Wreckager as I posses neither it nor any knowledge of its statistics. The Master Hammer, although powerful, is slow, thus the damage per second dealt by it compared to that of the Daichi is potentially lower, though I've not had the opportunity to do any actual calculations. As for the Chopper, its only plus is the experience bonus, which is increasingly useless as you draw nearer the end of the main story line, and drops to almost nothing once you've maximized all of your stats. After that, you might as well sell it, and perhaps you may be lucky enough to find an individual who will buy it for a million gold, or whatever you deem valuable in this game.

The wreckenger is a terrable weapon. It is about the same damage as a regular master katana, and its augments are crappy.

but by your 2 hit with the hammer, you will be almost on your 3rd hit with daichi anyway

It might have terrible damage in comparison to the other legendary weapons, but the looks of the Wrackager is the best one o' 'em all.

Your right about that though. I dont know why/how I traded it away. If your going to talk about the master hammers and adding more augments to it, it is still inferior to the Diachi due to the difference in speed. Now if you said master cleaver then that would be a totally different story.
