I was playing Fable and I turned it off and my friend wanted to put in Halo 3, so he turned on the Xbox 360. and the 3 red lights were all on the 360 and I was scared since I thought it was the RROD, then I turned it off then on again, it went back to normal and we played Halo 3 for 2 hours. What was that?

I don't know much about the RROD but maybe a wire was disconnected and it got nudged back or got better connection when you turned it off then back on?

It will sometimes just RROD like that. Sometimes it will do that and then not that much later it will rip you nuts off by permanently doing that.

That has happened to me once or twice. I've accidentally knocked a wire out without realising it and then the lights flashed red, indicating that problem. I thought it was RROD for a second.

That happened to me a few times before mine got the actual RRoD. I'd be careful with it, or move it or something.

Your powercube might be SLIGHTLY loose, so check that before any false presumptions.

The cord that goes into an electrical socket came out a couple times while I was playing my 360, and it gave me the RROD. Both times, I just hit the power button as soon as I saw the RROD, it went away, my Xbox turned off completely, and I was able to turn it right back on and keep playing that very moment. I think as long as you do that, everything should be fine.
