I re-enabled the Project Ego RSS 2.0 news feed bot again in order to help the search engines navigate around the site easier and potentially index more pages. You may notice that each news article that is posted by an RSS news feed bot provides a link to the original source - this helps search engine spiders travel around the site and add them to their index. It helps the site basically.

It's all very hard to explain and I'm doing a crap job so I'll just leave it at that.

And re-enabling a bot that has been in 'hibernation' for so long does sometimes have a tendency of going a little nuts and spitting out all the news that it previously should have posted about had it not been 'asleep'. It's just a hiccup and when it has gotten the news out of its system then it will return to posting one news item at a time whenever it is posted on the main site.

Thanks for clearing up the duplicate threads, DD. I managed to snag a few but it looks as though I must have missed some.

I did however find some of the replies funny though... Skynet... priceless. +rep to pretty much everyone.
