Look it is a game. Games are supposed to be beatable. If you want an unbeatable Jack of Blades to fit the supposed power he gets from the SoA, I could do that. But I doubt that it would be any fun at all.

He doesnt have to be Unbeatable all they would have to do is take out the Solus sword, then people couldchoose from The SoA or Avos Tear depending on if they are good or evil.

Isn't that based on your leveling? This SoA has 230 attack...

No use mulling it over like this now. What's done is done in-game, and I suppose they must have had their reasons for it. I'm sure someone before has seen this, and it must have stayed because they felt it needed to. What's the use of complaining?

they should have changed the jack fight, letting a ressurected/undead Mace get his hands on avo's tear.

In the original fable, the SoA did 550 damage. Lionhead changed it in TLC to balance it, and put heavy weapons, such as the solus greatsword, back in their place.

Yeah back in the original you could kill your sister, get the sword, do tons of good deeds and they forgot about it :S

To be honest, I find nothing wrong with having the Solus as the Strongest sword. If a one handed weapon has more attack than a Two-Handed weapon, as well as more speed then that would evade the point of them completely.

One Handed Weapons have High Attack Speed, but lower Attack power to balance things out.

It is the opposite with Two Handed Weapons, having Higher Attack Power and lower Attack Speed.

I believe they changed it to make the game more balanced, as well as slightly harder.

I agree. We could all debate about why they did what they did, but the fact still stands that they did it. Seriously, we'd all be complaining exactly the same if they did it any other way. You can't please everyone, but at least you can try!
