I have searched a little old threads and I mostly found where are the clues for it and how to find it.
But I haven't find what for is it used or what's the purpose of it ? ( I said I searched a little )
Help would be appreciated

Secondly, to answer your question: it's an easter egg. It serves no practical purpose and is really just a novelty item that acts as the treasure for the treasure hunt side-quest. At one time or another, there may have been other plans for the bounty, perhaps a legendary weapon or armor piece or other item of great value, but in the end, it's just a frying pan melee weapon with four augment slots being part of the novelty.

Oh, so it's just novelty, nothing else. And I tough it actually is useful.
Oh well, never mind then. It's just I find it funny. Frying pen is treasure and soul great sword is an item for sale lol.

I think that the frying pan can be very useful. If you have a hero that is very experienced as a will user you can add several mana augmentations to the frying pan and use magic with your mana bar replenishing much faster, this leaves you with a useless melee weapon, but a will user doesn't need one really. I don't care to play will user hero's myself, but it can give the frying pan a purpose.

I don't remember I saw I can out augmentations on frying pan
does that has anything to do whit not having all clues as I read ?

Indeed. Ideally you should have found each of the clues before digging it up, because each clue means more augmentation slots on the Frying Pan.

what ! Man, I didn't read that from nowhere. So, that means it will have 6 augmentation after I find it, mana aug. is expansive and rare. Oh well, I know money trick and when I buy mana aug. I just use hero save and load game
( that is possible, right ? )

If you dig up the frying pan without all the clues it will do zero damage and have no aug slots.

Finding the clues is great fun anyway. You might as well be legit in finding the Frying Pan.

I think it's 100 base damage rating. If it is, with five sharpening augments, base damage rating can go up to 161.

What's the purpose? Like most people, I simply use it to hold augs. I rarely use it as a melee weapon in combats.

also... never dig up the frying pan untill you have all treasure clues or it will do almost no damage
