Earth troll. Fighting them gives a real epic sence of scale. I hate fighting hollow men (and bandits, highway men are cool though) its kind of a chore

"Assassins" because they are the only thing thats hard to kill untill i take out my "Red Dragon" (for some reason i find battling trolls boring :S)

"Assassins" and your run of the mill Highwaymen. I like to reverse them for an instant kill, because they are the toughest enemies in the game to reverse.

It just increases damage

Because augments don't stack in effectiveness, you need two different augments with essentially the same effect. If you combine a devastation augment with a lucky charm augment then you increase your weapons damage as much as conceivably possible, because they both increase damage.

These two augments are the secret to the Red Dragon's power, actually. Otherwise it's kind of crappy. Putting these two augments on anything is a massive boost in offense.

so lets say i put a devestaion augmentaion and luck charm one on a master clock pistol, will it shoot as fast as the red dragon ?

Clockwork pistols all fire at the same speed, and when they run out of bullets they reload a clip. The Red Dragon is unique in that it has the same reload time as a flintlock: .75 seconds. A clockwork takes 1.25 seconds to reload.

To answer your question, you probably wouldn't notice a difference if you used a Master Clockwork instead of the Red Dragon. The Red Dragon is a clockwork, and since a clockwork pistol uses clips full of a bullets-- the second it takes to reload is hardly note worthy. Especially if you have level 3 Brutal Styles and can do the instant reload technique.

That said, I recommend the Master Flintlock. It's the most powerful pistol in the game, and you can make it even more powerful.

For me, it has to be balvs. Continuously hitting them from behind with a katana, not giving them a chance to attack. Trolls are a close second. Time control + level 5 inferno is always fun.
