Peter Molyneux: Late 2008. Maybe when the leaves have a slight brownish tinge - but are still on the trees, if you see what I mean.

wow... so yeah i dont know if anyone remembers a while back i made this thread about september 23rd because Pm made a big talk about it... and so yeah i didnt put it together before but autumn starts on september 23rd soooo... who knows may 30 september 23 hopefully he says soon

Well here's the thing.... Peter has said several times the word "soon." In two? three? very new interviews; like the one before the main GDC walkthrough where he was demonstrating for the journalists.
To me "soon" would be about 4-6 months. Perhaps even "sooner." It's just my theory, but maybe they are ahead of schedule and it will be out before the leaves start to turn (which would be late August where I'm sitting.) He did say that a while ago you know. They could have progressed much faster than he expected and was making a general guess instead of referring to a set release date.... you think?
I'm hoping and praying for between May and July. And if it's a holiday maybe Litha which is the Summer Solstice (normally around June 21st) or Lughnasadh (Games of Lugh) which is about August 1st.
I'll be outside in Fall. I'm going to be under one of my trees, if one leaf falls, I'm going to scream! Although, he got to gives us the release date I'd say in a mouth or 2.
So, what I would like to know about is when does this game come out?
thinking of that does any one think it comse out in november because its said to come out november 15th well it soundsabout the right time late 2008 any one agree.
the fact that gears 2 is coming out in november does make an earlier release seem possible
Good games are released most months and as Gears 2 isnt going to appeal to the RPG crowd id say that Fable 2 has nothing to worry about in that aspect.
i dont think the rpg crowd is so clear cut from the shooter crowd... i play almost all good games that come out for 360 and from a money standpoint i dont think it would have 2 of its biggest titiles of the year coming out that close together... so either it comes out earlier or it would come out in time for christmas... i personally hope and think it could come out septemeber 23rd... that seems like a very plausible date, i wish i had that link to the interview where he talked about september 23rd oh well who knows
