nope ....i tride the microsoft common controller ...but i got an error and it's probly coz i have the program allready installed

Tried removing it and reinstalling it?

No because i dont remember installing it....but it said on some sight that the error might be because of that......so i dont know what to do.

It should be listed in your add/remove programs list id imagine if it is installed.

Download a program called ccleaner and see if its listed in the uninstall options on that maybe.

I really dont need to take one because soon as I start the setup it says

Setup Error

installation did not complete.

and that's all it says.......it doesn't even say why it didn't complete

Your controller work with other games? Tried just plugging it in and letting windows find the drivers?

I think Fable is on the list of not compatible games anyway.

Yes it works with some other games but .....like some of the people play fable tlc using controller......I just want to know how they do it.

Fable TLC was designed to only work with keyboards, so no gamepad would ever work with it by default.

However, some (including myself) have used ControlMK for Fable which works perfectly, you can use it for any game also. It works with the 360 controller as well:

Program & Fable TLC Profile: Download (download the two attached files in chaos' post)

After you install ControlMK, make sure your 360 controller is plugged into the comp, and open up ControlMK.

There will be 2 drop-down boxes saying: "Controllers Found" and "Active Controllers". Select the 360 controller for both of them, and then next to the Profiles box, there will be a button with the ">" on it. Click that, and then click "Import", find the Fable TLC Profile you just downloaded, and then import it into the program. Click the "Save" button, and then minimize the window... and now you can play Fable with your 360 controller.

I was going to ask you what you used when i got onto MSN, i just havent had much time to get online.
