Don't know ,but I find this a bit funny

I was in a store the other day and salesman, tried to confince me to play a bit of Wii Fit. I said no, He was insulted, so I climbed on the thing an crack it broke, now the shop holds me responsble for breaking it.

What is funny that I tried to tell them I weigh 115 kg

As you werent doing anything out of the ordinary with it id say its not a matter of blame really. They could easily just replace it and shouldnt charge you for merely using a product the way its meant to be used.

I guess it would depend also on consumer rights where you live. Most people don't even know their rights and tend to agree with whatever the shop says to avoid trouble...you'd be surprised just how many myths there are concerning what the consumer is entitled to do and what the seller can get away with...

I would have said screw off he told me to use it. Basically the same as setting in your friends living room and he offers to let you play his playstation. Then there is a powersurge and the thing gets fryed. Its his fault it was broken because it was in his house . He is liable not you.
