Why does it keep asking me to sign in to MSNcommunities?

Yeah, I'm repetitive (the title and the first sentence). But why do I keep getting a little popup asking me for my username and pasword or whatever when I'm on projectego.net?

It's scaring me, and making me think that you admin-like people are plotting to steal my identity and use it to buy porn and viagra.

Yeah i have seen that but only on Internet Explorer (when im at work). I dont get it at home as i use Firefox, thought it was just a work computer thing until this thread.

I use IE, so it could just be that; but it only does it here, and only recently, so I was guessing it was some kinda new feature with the upgrade?

Must just be linked with that, as i havent made use of it myself i dont know what it does either yet.

Msncommunities is like microsofts XBL without the games. Like a microsoft-myspace. I get it on a couple sites, but only ones that are MS owned. Well that is with the exception of this one. Yeah it's only been on IE and recently like you said Walker. Who knows. Maybe MS is secretly trying to take credit for this awesome-ass website. lol.

I have to sign in to. Does that make you feel better?

Oh, no, I'm not signing into anything until I know what it is for sure and why projectego.net wants me to sign into it. Or until I get paid for it. Or, preferably, both.

LOL, warm and fuzzy, huh.

I think I have to many internet sights, on my computer, and it gets confused. I really work my hard drive. I have MSN, Mozilla, and another one. It all straightens out though, but does say it's confused, just like I am.

I think it's related to Windows Live messenger because it only started happening once i downloaded it (partially downloaded.... Stupid Internet caP!) and then it started popping up then i uninstalled and it stopped but i could be wrong because i reinstalled it and haven't seen the thingy since

It's nothing to do with the upgrade as far as I am aware but Steve will have a check later to make sure nothing has sneaked in uninvited...if in doubt, ignore any popups to be on the safe side.

Well, it's not really a popup in that sense, but yes.

I was assuming it had something to do with the odd new socialization-type options on the profiles.

Mine did it on the works computer which doesnt have Windows Live Messenger on it.
