Seriously, what is up with the weather yesterday and today?? Nice sunny sunday morning, we go to church, come home and have lunch before deciding to take the sprog to the park (the decent one with the ducks).
Halfway there and there's a blizzard. Out of nowhere. Steve, as ever, is without a coat so runs home to get warm...I carry on as we need milk and I want to look for shoes for the kid. She is wearing just a fleece over her tshirt as it was quite pleasant when we left the house not 25 minutes ago (this has relevance very soon).
Go to Woolworths and the snow stops. Lovely - I can now go grab some milk and head home. Clearly the Great Pink Pixie in the sky hears my arrogant thoughts and sends the full force of an Arctic winter to teach me a lesson. Then the kid starts screaming coz she's so cold, so I have to give up my coat to her and am now walking home in a blizzard with the thinnest of thin tops on and four pints of cold milk in my hand.
Took an hour to get home and I could not feel my own arms...then I look in the mirror and see that I have what looks like sunburn all over my face due to the driving wind and snow...I resemble an over-excited raccoon.
Note to self - do not listen to children when wanting to go to the park. It is safer to stay at home forever.
Yeah i know what you mean we had everything over last two days, warmth, hail, rain, and snow. Yesterday was worse as it was really quite warm and sunny and i was on my driving lesson and was blue skies and everything then out of nowhere it pelted down with hail then randomly stopped after ten minutes and was sunny again. After getting home i looked out of window about an hour later to see the sky go black again and big snow drift come in... crazy...
I swear- every time I went outside today it either snowed or hailed. Even in Stafford today is was snowing just for the duration of me getting out of the car and walking to the hospital. Then it stopped for 4 hours - then I leave the hospital and it kicks off again.
You all got the best luck, all I've been getting is uncomfortable heat. I'd do a good dead if it would bring the cold back down here. I hate Florida. It always too damn hot here, even in winter, where it needs to be cold. If I had the chance I'd get out of here asap but with my funds, I'd be lucky enough to even get a bus ride.

I wish it would snow more around here. I love the snow, its so pretty. Ive tried everything to make it snow more. Naked snow dances in freezing weather, virgin sacrifices, building a weather machine; heck I even tempting it with chocolate and still nothing. But on a more serious not, I truly do love the snow.
I love snow so much but would prefer it if I was wearing suitable attire...and if the weather would make a decision about what it's going to be like for the day rather than shaking the Pick-and-Mix bag out of the sky...
