why are we still still talking about fable and fable 2?

i mean come on , i think we have mentioned nearly everything that could be possibly fit into fable 2 that we want and i have looked over the previous threads and i dont know if there is anything to talk about untli fable 2 is released

i guess no one has anything to say to that eh? cause u all know im right

... well, that certainly begs the question of why one would visit a Fable discussion forum if one has nothing to say about Fable...

we continue to discuss Fable because it was, and still is, an awesome game...
members are still constantly coming up with new things to say about it and to do within the game itself to keep it interesting, whether by looking for things others had never seen before, trying feats previously thought impossible, or modding...

as for Fable 2, we continue to be entranced by what it could possibly contain, and enjoy salivating over whatever tidbits we can glean from various sources...

i know fable is an awesome game and i guess i joined this place cause i didnt think people would have covered every single dot in the game oh and by the way with the whole people will keep on talking becasue they will see other things people wont see? well i think that , that is crap becasue can u think of anything new in this game that other people havent seen that hasnt been mentioned in the past? i dont think so oh and i dont think u can mod fable either

im also not dissing fable either or anyone who likes it, discusses it or uses as a substitute for a teddy bear its just that i guess im getting way to excited and impatient for fable 2

and yes you can mod fable... you would also know that if you had looked through our threads... it's a sticky...

Woah, hold up there! Calm it down and let's just take a step back here. We welcome all people to the forums and as other members have just said, there is a lot to be said about Fable and Fable TLC - we get people here who have never played before and need help or people like me who can't find their hero's backside with both hands.

There's loads to discover about Fable and people like talking about it - it's good fun and in no way a "teddy bear" whilst we're waiting for Fable 2 to arrive. When it does come out, this board will probably explode (not literally, hopefully) and there will be even more to say as well as, no doubt, further comparisons to be made between the new game and previous ones.

And for the record, no one here is a big-shot (some may be self-proclaimed, but we just need to give them their meds a little earlier from now on) and EVERYONE is welcome with their thoughts on the game(s).

Angel, to be honest this guy didnt get a very welcoming reception at all from people on this forum- to be honest the way people here have been acting is making me reconsider if I even want to keep checking back here. The first line Hex said was:

"... well, that certainly begs the question of why one would visit a Fable discussion forum if one has nothing to say about Fable..."

Thats really welcoming isnt it? He may as well have said what the hell are you doing here- get out. It gives the same message pretty much. And putting it in a posh tone using 'one' just makes him seem patronising. He has also had another thread locked because as soon as he tried to start a topic about the concept of a Fable 3 he was pounced upon by Hex yet again declaring that it was a pointless topic and putting a downer on it.

Like seriously- people on this forum have really begun to think that their hot ****- some members need to pull that god damn stick out of their ***.

I asked about why one would visit a discussion forum if one had nothing to say because that's what a discussion is... saying things...

and I was not trying to patronize or sound "posh"... I used the term "one" because I was not strictly referring to him but to anyone who may have such a question...

... I neither pounced nor declared on the topic of Fable 3... I gave my opinion... my opinion is as valid as anyone else's...

... I don't appreciate being singled out and attacked in such a fashion on the boards... if you have a problem with my posts, kindly flag them to the staff, or send me a pm...

I dont think she meant anything like that at all to be honest and i think that was a fair point to make as if people didnt come here to talk about Fable and Fable 2 what would be the point in people coming here? We are essentially a Fable website and need people to keep talking about it to keep us active in that area. There was no need to get on your high horse about it as i dont think anything was said or meant in a harsh tone.
