Actually, no. Not hype, as in the developers bragging about the game as per Fable, but more of a "Ssssshhh shhhh"-hype - that is, the devlopers are keeping their mouth quiet, keeping everybody on their toes, scratching their heads and speculating about what features we will see.

... that's what's so genius about it...

instead of peter shooting his mouth off and making all sorts of crazy promises of features which may not end up in the final game and making us all rather ****ed at being hosed... *cough*... he just leaves it to the imaginations of the fans to cook up even more grandiose ideas of just what this game will contain and how great it will be... so if it ends up different than previously expected, he's not the one to blame... just the frenzied rumour mill of the interwebs...
... and the less solid info people are given, the more curious they become, making them still more likey to buy the game when it comes out, if only to find out what the big secret was all about...

Yeah thats EXACTLEY how it is, and i for one think thats the best thing they could do.
