Hello all, and sorry if this post is in the wrong location.
I am wanting to get Fable: The Lost Chapters for xbox, and I have an xbox 360... and I am wondering, will it work? The reason I'm asking is, once I sold my xbox, and got a 360, about half of my regular xbox games would not work.

most do now, and they are still updating them all the time

even if you had original xbox games that didn't work when you got your console, some may work now due to updates and whatnot

Should be a list on Xbox.com | Xbox.com Home id find the page but im at work

If you dont have access to Xbox Live to update you can download it on your PC and put it on a CD and put that in your 360 and update.

I play TLC on the Xbox 360 and apart from obviously not looking as awesome as games designed specifically for that console, it works great and still looks brilliant. Maybe it's our TV or something, but the game looks 4:3 as opposed to 16:9...

Yeah on HDTV's you can notice the jagged edges more on the old Xbox games. Nothing to do with the actual 360 itself though so if you got a standard TV for it you wont notice to much difference. Except that of 360 games side by side with Xbox games obviously

Thank you for the information everyone! My pc is terrible, so I cant play good games on it, so my 360 is my only source for playing good RPG's.

as I've said about 100 times, and I have no idea why nobody believes me, an update is not required to play Fable or Fable TLC on the 360... it works straight out of the box

I believed you and remember now, sorry about that. Just some games that were listed as working straight out the box didnt for me so just put that in there just incase. I got the update before playing Fable so i could play other games so never found out first hand on that title in particular but yeah its listed as working without update and should do.

A lot of games require an Update to play but you're right Fable didn't
