willow wisps

i have been on thusands of frums where they have asked this so im going to tell every single oblivion player ever to come across this thread

• willow wisps are not willow the wisp
• to kill one you need a magic silver or deadric weapon

sorry if this has been posted i am just sick of folk calling them wiilow the wisp and not looking at the obvios way to kill them,

Actually, the general name for it is Will O' The Wisp or just Will O' Wisp, which means both of the two are off key but still close enough.

Also, I thought they can also be struck with a standard dwemer weapon? Or am I thinking of Morrowind again...

you get dwarven weapons in oblivion

That's right, so I was thinking Morrowind then. But the dwemer and dwarven are the same, they just wanted to change the name.

For even further reference, Will O' The Wisp was a cartoon series back in the olden days of decent British television. Just in case anyone was even remotely interested.

dwermer are normally inaccurately called dwarves however there are a number of differences, search oblivion wiki
for detail on not just dwermer culture but anything oblivion
