As I mentioned earlier: The raffle approach was only something I have been considering and is by no means official. Also, Fable 2 apparently won't be released for another 12 months - if the contest did require members to have a minimum of 250 posts to enter - I'm sure you would have gained enough posts by then.


I want to reward people who do post and become an active, helpful and contributing part of our Fable 2 community. Members who are unpleasant and generally acting like a troll will be banned and 'Bandits' are exempt from this contest.

Wow...this would really help me alot to get a free copy man. Then again, I deserve it as much as everyone else. This is a great contest idea...and I think a true member shold be rewarded with a copy of Fable 2. He/she could be a big fan, or a little fan. I agree with Steve that the winner should be a contributer to the forums.

here's my idea:

Maybe we can make a contest where the members have to make a short or long paragragh (or essay) about why they stayed at projectego.net and why they've always loved Lionhead and the Fable franchise. Just my idea bro, but I thougt it would be cool. Maybe even a video. The person who wins doesn't need to have the best writing capability, they just have to convince us.

How about if you get an entry into the raffle for every month that you have at least 25 posts between now and the release date starting in August. That way new comers to the site would get a chance but those who have been here would get a greater chance. I would also say that if you spam post to get to 25 then you could be disqualified all together.

Lastly, not to throw a wet rag on the whole thing but, you might want to check out the legal part of running a contest online.

i like this idea, fair and a bit of a challenge and you have to post whilst doing it, so pretty much everythings covered.
