That's also something I considered. Fortunately Amazon does indeed have a gift card system so that will perhaps be the way to go.

i dont have much luck with this kind of thnig, dont have many posts and kinda dont really know what the whole amazon gift card thing or how it works coz i only got the internet a little while ago and dont really go on sites like that. now that im done whinging,i just wanted o say i like the idea in theory, just dont know how it would play out in practise. ill still spread the word around about the contest though.

It's not complicated - hell, if I can do it anyone can

Basically, places like Amazon (very reputable shopping site, so no danger of being screwed over or your details being misused) have a gift function whereby someone can purchase a certain amount of credit for another shopper to enjoy. This is done either by mailing the person a paper certificate with a code that they can redeem online when they are ready or by sending the code in a regular email or e-card to the recipient to enter in when they select something and go to the checkout.

Don't forget you have a year to go yet so don't throw yourself out of the competition just yet
