Is anyone planning on upgrading to Windows Vista
If so Why? and if not Why Not?

It's always a good policy when something new comes out ( Windows especially ) to wait 6 months to a year for them to get all the bugs fixed. I mean, look at Windows ME, what a piece of junk, and Windows XP came out only a little while later.

I will be! Everything about Vista just oozes awesomeness...ness... yeah. With a bit of luck I'll be able to get my hands on a free upgrade when I invest in a new rig sometime after Christmas (or before, if I feel like treating myself ).

I might look into getting this program but i am really going to wait considering hackers are already having there way with it.

That Hack was one that fooled the system into thinking it had been activated.

Still security wise it's always better to wait

I'm going to get it for the improved media center edit, skip commercial etc

Windows Vista does look like a good choice of upgrade from what i have seen so personally i will probably get it aswel!

My brother –in-law upgraded the computers at the house with it. To tell you the truth I am not very impressed but I am not a computer wiz either. It took me about a day to learn how to work the computers again and then it was just like it had always been. I could be missing the point however he knows much more than I do about these kinds of things.
