Wireless 360 controller - crap?

Yay, Tsuyu is finally getting himself a 360, just as soon as I get my monthly payment for being me, from the government, haha.

Anyhow, I am considering a offer that gives me a helluva lot of stuff, including Dead Rising and a 20gb harddrive, and a wireless controller. But one of my good friends told me it sucks....

Anyone had any experiance with a wirless 360 controller? Should I get one with a cord too?

Yeah get one they are awesome, be surprised how good it feels without the restrictions of wires. I have no idea ehy your freind would say they suck as they are the most comfortable and best feeling controllers ive ever used.Get some powerful rechargeable batteries or the recharge pack aswel though.

Well that friend of your is stupid no offence but I have four wireless and so far nothing bad I had them since the Xbox 360 came out.

well, you'll probably be wanting to play games with other people at some point, so getting one with a cord as well couldn't hurt... I have one and I'm glad I do because I can't find my battery recharger right now... the only thing I don't like is the weight difference between them as it makes it awkward for the first few minutes if you switch them back and forth... the cord on mine stretches all the way across the damn room and is no fun to untangle either...

Indeed,I don't mind either of them, but if your going to get a cord, get a long one. Otherwise you will be sitting a metre from the tv..

Yeah the batteries need alot of charging unless you have powerful ones. I brought some special high powered Digital Camera ones to use in mine and they last ages and only have to fully charge for 2 hours.

The cables on the 360 controllers are REALLY long!

Theres a video on youtube somewhere comparing how long the 360 cables are compared to all past consoles and PS3 etc and they are DAMN long!

Lol, well my suggestion is get the cheaper ones, but in a greater number.

Well the 360 only has 2 wired controller slots so have to get either 2 wired and 2 wireless or 4 wireless etc.

No multi tap needed if you got 4 wireless or 2 wired and 2 wireless. Microsoft dont have one for the 360 anyway as like i said its not needed.

Yeah there are 4 player games of course, like classics such as Halo, Halo 2, Perfect Dark Zero, WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2007, Fifa games. (just going on what ive got at minute i know theres tons more).

Would be the wise choice, plus with the wires being so long they get in the way if you have a small room like i do.
