wizards tower question

ok, so i recently downloaded the wizards tower, and i have it fully upgraded. and i was wondering if anyone knows if those glowing circles near the entrance (around the hand) have any use or porpose. they seem to activate when you first visit the tower, and they sparkle.................. .... anything else?

The ones that raise when you read the book?

All they do is raise when you acticate the book. They do nothing else after that.
