In light of the recent success of Map Packs 1 and 2 for Call of Duty: World at War, Activision today announced Map Pack 3, coming this August.

"Map Pack 3 will feature three multiplayer maps (“Battery,” “Revolution,” and “Breach”), co-developed with partner Certain Affinity, and one new Zombie map (“Der Riese”)."

Details are scarce at the moment but as soon as they appear, we'll update you. This should keep all the CODders out there going till Modern Warfare 2 at least.

Its good that they keep updating the game with new Map Packs (i didnt like the pack Infinity Ward brought out for COD 4). However i couldnt get into WaW online and sold my copy and me and all my friends went back to playing COD 4. Until Modern Warfare 2 comes out i shall continue with COD 4.

Yeah, I refuse to sink anymore money into WAW. That game was a disappointment. I stood by it for a long time while others bashed it but I slowly began to realize how horribly laggy and glitchy that game is online.

I still play it.

I can't wait for MW2.

I've never brought any of the World at War map packs but if Treyarch pulled an 'Epic' and released a bumper pack of all three map packs for a discounted price then I would definitely consider making a purchase. I used to quite like the Nazi Zombie modes.
