Not really. They are actually allies, of sort. WoW takes place just after WC III where the both sides made an uneasy alliance to defeat the Burning Legion.

However, with the Legion gone, the already uneasy alliance has started to grow even weaker - but full-out war it is not.

I blame Mannorth for every thing the humans put the orcs through In WCIII
I mean he uses the orcs like cattle, Its a good thing I slaughtered him faster than an orc can slaughter a pig.

Yes of course. The Orcs are not from Azeroth to start with - they lived honorable, peaceful lives in shamanistic tribes in the Outlands - a way of life Thrall strives for his new Horde to re-astablish. But then the demons messed them up with the Blood Rage and all, turning them into slaughter machines and invaded Azeroth with them.

i think the alliance made a huge mistake about the blood elves.. but im glad they are on da horde side!

To qoute a friend of mine: "Hooray for 13-years-old boys creating lvl 1 female alts and /dance while they ****-off."

Horde should remain ugly and brutish, not some beautiful elves - atleast make them mutate somehow when they turned to the Horde.

But seriously, Horde needed new sweet females, the old ones didnt differ much from males. And besides, why should Alliance get all the fun.

the Blood elves may be all pretty and what, but the blood elves are actually very cruel and dark.. they are perfect for the horde..

and the only reason why they can be pallys is cuz they captured a naaru ( in the middle of shattrath you will see one or two) they are beings of pure light thus giving blood elfs holy powers

Hey my main was a female orc (with the "cute" face mind you. Not the other faces that all are "ugly crone") and she was more dear to me than any night elf bimbo - hotter aswell.

However, in all seriousness, Horde getting elves alongside with both sides getting the unique class from the other side just added to the feeling that both the Alliance and the Horde have been stripped of what made them unique.

The same fact makes many (good) games rather boring... for me - Red Alert 2 for example.

just watch... in the next warcraft game blood elves will be back on the alliance and draeni either neutral or horde

Those two statments doesn't really fit. If the Blood Elves instead had a "unique" class which had all the abilities of the Paladin, but instead got it's powers from an infernal being/diety making them "anti-Paladins", or "Blackguard" if you will. Like instead of "Divine Shield" they'd have like... "Darkness Barrier".

In the next game, They`ll come up with something like Human, Orcs, Undead, Draenei vs. Naga, Blood Elves, Night Elves, Dwarves.
That`d mess things up...

Which is why we probably won't see another Warcraft game - they ****ed the Lore up waaaay to much in WoW!
