The news comes after the Japanese Xbox price reduction, fuelling speculation that Europe might be due for a slash later this next. We don't see any reason why Microsoft would leave us out.
The new North American Xbox prices go in to effect from tomorrow, September 5.
Good to hear that it's official. This will be a HUGE holiday season for the 360!!! I doubt the Wii will drop their price but what about the PS3 it's now twice the cost of the 360 Arcade!

Hard to say as 1 month ago they said they had no plans to drop the price. However with the new model surfacing maybe the less expensive models will get a price cut. Wouldnt expect to see it happen here however.
Only $199.99 for the core is very cheap. You can have a PS2 at the same price in Estonia, not to mention that the 60GB version is almost two times as expensive here.
