Xbox 360 problem

I have a problem with my 360.. Everytime i go on spiderman 3 and load it and when i go into the game i usually start swinging around but after 1-2 minutes my game freezes.. One time it was so bad the screen went green and i turned it off. then i tried to turn it back on, it wouldnt come on.. i didnt get the 3 rings of death either (although i may be close) but the rings on the 360 kept going around like when you turn on the 360 with the controller. Help?

And yes im back.. Been in missorui for all this time

Over heating, my friend. You know that box thingy that you hook into the wall, and on the other end hook your 360 into? It has a little lamp on it too.

Anyway, if that thing is close to your 360, move it as far away as you can as it generates a lot of heat, in my opinion. And be sure you don't have anything on the 360 that could be blocking the air flow. Also, if you can, avoid having it up against walls and such, put it like 10 cm or so away from things like that to allow air flow.

I'm just speaking from experience - I had mine real close by too, and recently I had these lock-ups and I guessed it was the bad guy. Now it sits on the other side of one of my huge speakers and I've not gotten any more lock-ups and if I put my feet on the console I can feel it isn't nearly as warm as it was before after I've played for a while.

Oh, also the missionary, erhm, I mean the horizontal position is supposed to be more "healthy" for your 360 than the vertical one...

Yeah. You can have your 360 two ways:

On it's side (horizontal)

Warning, this is a spoiler!

or standing (vertical)

Warning, this is a spoiler!

I think the horizontal saves on your CDs because they don't make as much racket and noise when they read CDs horizontally.

Well, to be honest, that is pretty much some heavy CD abuse right there!

I don't think it will cause much more problems depending on what side you keep it on, but I just think my console makes so much less noise when kept laying down, which I would think is a good sign.

Well, if you leave it running in the 360 over-night... well, it can't exactly be healthy for the disc, no?

Oh? Well, then I missunderstood your post.

Well then, the only explanation I can leave is that a leprechaun or perhaps a troll of some sort did it, because it sounds rather impossible that it could get damaged like that, especially behind locked doors.

Weren't we talking about your Saints Row which got bizarrely damaged when left in your 360...?

The Spiderman Issue sounds very, very much like over-heating.
