Following the price cut on 360 hardware in US, Microsoft has taken a hacksaw to DLC prices on Xbox Live, too.

The list of DLC slashed includes content for Mass Effect, Forza, Oblivion, Guitar Hero III, Lost Odyssey and Beautiful Katamari, with some cuts bringing prices down to less than half price.

Continuing MS' price cut frenzy, the company has also dropped the price of standalone 360 hard drives in US from $179.99 to $149.99, reports Kotaku.

Wow! That's great! Very unlike Microsoft to cut the price of anything, though!

I'll definitely be checking out what's available and what's been price cut on the marketplace next time I sign onto Xbox LIVE! Thanks DD!

I did read that these are limited time price cuts but I have a feeling that the will stay this low since no one would download them if the went back up.
