Microsoft's virtual festival, 'Xtival' kicks off its 2009 iteration this weekend. Which means among other goodies, free Xbox Live Gold membership for everyone over the bank holiday.

I think what Microsoft should do is haev Competitions and then whoever wins, second, third sort of thing they get Microsoft points as a Prize!

Or have ways where you can earn Microsoft points, so its Just not a System you use to Play games online or talk to friends but also a Cool way to earn points and What-not.

they should have an ultimate competition in the most played games and firts prize is lifetime gold membership and microsoft points, second 2 months gold membershipn and microsoft points, 3 prize some microsoft points
4-10 1 month membership 10-everyone else, like 50-100 microsoft points

Microsoft does have contests pretty often that you can win just for playing certain games on Xbox Live. I won 1000 Microsoft Points from the GTA: IV contest back in October so it is possible to win.
