Xbox Network Connection

Hey guys, I'm having trouble connecting my PC to my 360. I have my 360 connected using a wired connection to my router, and my PC using wireless. My Xbox can see the internet and my PC can see the internet, but they can't see each other. I've gone through the WMP 11 settings and it can't see the Xbox, tried messing with my network settings on the Xbox but nothing works. I figure you guys would know better than me.

Cheers for any help.

I have the same problem. Sucks. Did you right click on library and go to media sharing? You should see and Xbox 360 thing in there and then just click allow. That is all I can really offer.

It doesn't show up in that menu. I don't have any firewall software running.

I used a program called TVersity, if Media Player cant see 360 you might have to use router settings to open some ports.

That is very odd. I guess DD's suggestion is worth a shot. I'm all out of suggestions.

I'm running XP SP2. My mate said that I just had to reset my Xbox connection, so I'll try that.

Lol, I have the same problem. My router is fairly old and we've lost the password to access it with no way to reset the router. xD

Re: Xbox Network Connection

You lost it? Isn't there a reset button that you hold for a long freakin' time then it resets it to factory settings?

There is a reset button, but it doesn't work. All it does is clear the routers cache. xD
